The Department of Forest Inventory provides:
a) organization of measures for inventory and forest planning;
b) organization of forest management plans;
c) monitoring of the forest fund and processing of the collected data;
d) preparation of cartographic materials of the Forest Fund areas;
e) clarification and adjustment of the borders of the Forest Fund.

Powers of the Forest Inventory and Cadastre Division:
a) preparation of information and relevant cartographic materials on the areas of the Forest Fund;
b) organization of the functioning of the geo-informative systems of the Forest Fund;
c) coordination of work of adjustment and/or correction of boundaries of the Forest Fund and preparation of relevant documentation;
d) according to the established procedure, preparation of cadastre measuring drawings;
e) participation in the preparation of another object for the transfer of the right to use;
f) for the purpose of registering of Forest Fund areas, preparing materials and submitting them to the registration authority;
g) organization of the development of electronic information systems.

Powers of the Forest Inventory and Monitoring Division:
a) preparation of relevant recommendations with the aim of dividing the Forest Fund into forest areas, forestries, quarters, litters (taxation areas);
b) organization of Forest Fund accounting;
c) organization of Forest Fund monitoring;
d) preparation and/or organization of forest management plans;
e) together with departments of Forest Use and Forest Maintenance-Restoration, organizing the preparation and review of forest management and forest use plans;
f) development of technical instructions for forest inventory;
g) development of draft orders of the Head of the Agency on issues of its authority;
h) within the competence, the exercise of other powers defined by law.
