The powers of the Forest Restoration Division are:
a) Preparation of proposals and recommendations for forest restoration, development of targeted programs;
b) Planning, organizing, and monitoring forest restoration and cultivation activities, and for this purpose organizing seed collection in the area under the management of the Agency;
c) Preparation of forest restoration and cultivation projects;
d) Agreeing on forest restoration and cultivation projects submitted to the Agency and preparing for approval;
e) Provision of methodological assistance to the territorial bodies of the Agency in the field of forest restoration/cultivation;
f) Supervise the implementation of forest restoration and cultivation measures;
g) Participation in the development of draft legal acts, a draft order of the Head of the Agency on matters within his/her authority.

The powers of the Forest Protection Division are:
a) Organization of planning, implementation, and monitoring of forest care measures;
b) Provision of methodological assistance to the territorial bodies of the Agency in the field of forest care;
c) Supervision of the implementation of forest care measures;
d) Planning appropriate measures to improve the sanitary condition of the forest;
e) Organization of the measures to combat the spread of pests and diseases;
f) Organization of fire-fighting measures;
g) Participation in the development of draft legal acts, a draft order of the Head of the Agency on matters within his/her authority.
