Responsibilities of Forest Use Management Division:
a) provision of paperwork of the forest use (except for special forest use);
b) organizing  of forest management plans reviews and working out relevant conclusions;
c) preparing documentation for forest use objects;
d) consideration of the issue of granting the right to the special use of the forest fund and preparation of a draft order of the Head of the Agency;
e) within the framework of competence, collection, and systematization of information on violations identified by the agency;
f) organizing development of electronic information systems ;

g) preparing proposals for the development of an electronic system of timber resource management, as well as for the development and/or amendment of new software modules;
h) ensuring accessibility of the electronic information system for consumers, taking into account hierarchical levels of information availability, providing practical and methodological assistance to consumers of the system;

i) calculation of the cost of compensation for special use of the forest fund;
j) organization of control over the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated by the forest use agreement;
k) participation in the audit in order to monitor the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated by this agreement. In the framework of competence, in identifying an administrative offense, drawing up a protocol on an administrative offense in accordance with the procedure established by law;
l) in the prescribed manner, organization of the construction/rehabilitation of roads for forestry purposes;
m) coordination of work on the allocation of cutting areas for social felling;
n) preparation of a draft order of the Head of the Agency on competency issues;
o) within the competence, exercise of other responsibilities defined by law.

Timber resource management division responsibilities:
a) organization of the use of timber resource (except acquired through auction);
b) planning felling of the agency, including special cutting;
c) coordination of the activities of regional bodies of the agency;
d) supervision of the process of timber production, for this purpose, providing periodic cameral and field studies;
e) identification, analysis, and assessment of risk factors of the process of timber production and preparation of technical specifications;
f) preparation of a draft order of the Head of the Agency for the determination of authority;
g) within the competence, the exercise of other responsibilities established by law.
