The Financial Department provides:
a) Planning, managing, and reporting of the budget of the Agency;
b) Conducting accounting activities of the Agency and its territorial bodies;
c) Planning and conducting of public procurement procedures;
d) Management of the property transferred to/or acquired by the Agency.

The powers of the Financial Division are:
a) Ensure the management and coordination of the budget process of the Agency;
b) Coordination of the Agency's medium-term action plan the reflection in country's main data and directions document and in the Law on the State Budget of Georgia;
a) Ensure the management and coordination of the budget process of the Agency;
b) Coordination of the Agency's medium-term action plan the reflection in country's main data and directions document and in the Law on the State Budget of Georgia;
c) Announcement of electronic auctions for the purpose of the conveyance or in use of the forest fund of timber resources in accordance with the rules established by law;
d) Development and presentation of the draft budget of the Agency (including own revenues and payments), working out of revenues and payments description plan in accordance with approved budget parameters and submit it as intended;
e) Prepare changes in the budget of the Agency as needed (including own revenues and payments) and submit them as intended;
f) Prepare and submit quarter and annual performance reports on the budget of the Agency (including own revenues and payments);
d) Development and presentation of the draft budget of the Agency (including own revenues and payments), working out of revenues and payments description plan in accordance with approved budget parameters and submit it as intended;
e) Prepare changes in the budget of the Agency as needed (including own revenues and payments) and submit them as intended;
f) Prepare and submit quarter and annual performance reports on the budget of the Agency (including own revenues and payments);
g) Coordination and management (organization) of the financial activities of the Agency;
h) Financial and economic analysis of timber production activities;
i) Participation in the elaboration of draft legal acts, within the scope of competence of the draft administrative-legal act of the Head of the Agency, as well as working out of a draft legal act of the Head of the Agency on salary supplement and/or monetary reward to the employees of the Agency on the grounds and within the maximum amount provided by the Law of Georgia on Remuneration in Public Organization.
h) Financial and economic analysis of timber production activities;
i) Participation in the elaboration of draft legal acts, within the scope of competence of the draft administrative-legal act of the Head of the Agency, as well as working out of a draft legal act of the Head of the Agency on salary supplement and/or monetary reward to the employees of the Agency on the grounds and within the maximum amount provided by the Law of Georgia on Remuneration in Public Organization.

The powers of the Accounting-Reporting Division are:
a) Maintenance of accounting records and preparation of financial statements;
b) Accrual and payment of salaries to the employees of structural subdivisions and territorial services of the Agency;
c) Reflecting the inventory results in the accounting records;
d) Complete and timely accounting of settlements with physical and legal entities;
e) Accounting of non-financial assets, low value, and other tangible assets;
f) Storage of material/electronic accounting documents/financial statements in the prescribed manner;
g) Within the scope of its competence, preparation of a draft administrative-legal act of the Head of the Agency;
h) Exercise other powers provided by law.

a) Planning of the public procurement, drawing up an annual public procurement plan and, if necessary, making changes in it;
b) Submission of the annual public procurement plan and, if necessary, to make changes in accordance with the rules established by the legislation;
c) Within the scope of its competence, ensure the conduct of tender procedures;
d) Preparation of draft contracts related to public procurement and, if necessary, amendments to them;
e) Submission of reports on the implementation of public procurement contracts in accordance with the rules established by the legislation;
f) Quarter public procurement information analysis implemented by the Agency;
g) Preparation of a draft administrative-legal act of the Head of the Agency within the scope of his/her competence.
