The representatives of the Trade Union of Sweden visited Borjomi Gorge
For the purpose of acquaintance with the forest sector in Georgia, there are representatives of the Swedish forest sector Trade Unions are in the country. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation together with representatives of the National Forestry Agency visited Borjomi Gorge, where they got acquainted with the activities of forest management and maintenance-restoration of the forests.
Representatives of the Trade Unions were provided by georgian side with information regarding current processes and planned activities in the sector. Issues of further cooperation and priority areas of joint projects were also discussed. The parties will share the experience of sustainable forest management.
