Trees planting in Kutaisi
At the initiative of the Kutaisi Municipality and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, a tree planting action was held in Kutaisi. About 80 deciduous seedlings were planted on the Chavchavadze Avenue by the Mayor of the city of Kutaisi together with famous people. Along with representatives of local self-government, the action was attended by the local population, who themselves will take care of further care of the seedlings. The action, which aims to increase social responsibility and environmental awareness, was held with the support of the National Forest Agency. As the Mayor of Kutaisi said, the same events are planned by the local government in other areas of the city.
