Kakheti Forestry Service is provided with fire fighting equipment
Kakheti Forestry Service was provided fire fighting equipment and technics. Representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) supplyed the region with fire-fighting devices, jackets, helmets and other necessary equipment.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture is actively carrying out fire-fighting measures nationwide, will it be a construction-rehabilitation of forestry roads, or the placement of warning signs in fire hazardous areas.
The presented equipment and devices will not only contribute to the implementation of fire preventive measures, but will also provide an effective response in the event of a fire, as well as mitigate damage to the environment.
