Meeting with forestry students in Akhaltsikhe
In the public college Opizari curriculum of forestry specialist was introduced. Forestry specialists met with Natia Iordanishvili, Deputy Head of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture. The program was implemented with the support of the governments of Germany and Austria in 2017 with the assistance of the National Center for the Development of Education as part of the program for the development of professional education.
The college is equipped with all the equipment necessary for effective training in forestry. On the territory of the college a symbolic action of gardening took place.
The event was attended by the Forest Expert of the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ Erich Misi and the representatives of the Department of Biological Diversity and Forest Policy.
