In the Borjomi gorge, in the village of Daba, the planting works on damaged by fires in 2008 and 2017 forest territories were completed. Planting works will be resumed in the fall by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.

This time the forest restoration project was presented to the employees of legislative body. Last fall, the National Forestry Agency restored 144 hectares of forest territory. Spring work will continue this year, during which about 35 thousand seedlings of coniferous and deciduous species will be planted.

Today, on the territory near the village of Daba, the staff of the Parliament apparatus symbolically planted about 50 seedlings of coniferous species that were grown in the National Nursery. Planting work was supervised by specialists-foresters.
