March 21 - International Forest Day and Down Syndrome Day. At the initiative of the National Forestry Agency, the beneficiaries of the  organization "Children of the Sun" visited the National Nursery. They were introduced with endemic plants and trees, and species, listed in the Red List of Threatened Species, and familiarized with the methods of plant. After obtaining theoretical knowledge, the children planted saplings of various kinds in containers. March 21, the International Forest Day was declared by the UN General Assembly. The main goal of celebrating this day is raising public awareness of the importance of forests.
