WWF handed over special equipment to Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti Forestry Service

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) handed over special equipment to Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti Forestry Service. The project is being implemented for the third year in Racha and Erusheti by the WWF Caucasian Office, with the financial support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation of Germany (BMZ).

The aim of the project is to protect local biodiversity by improving the quality of management of natural resources and implementing sustainable forestry, which will stop the degradation of forest ecosystem and promote living conditions of local population.
