II International Georgian-Polish Conference on "Cooperation in Forest and Environmental Issues" was held in Georgia. Natia Iordanishvili, the Deputy Head of LEPL National Forestry Agency informed participants about the ongoing processes in forest sector of Georgia and planned reforms in future. The issues related to the forestry infrastructure development, problems in the field of forestry in Georgia and neighboring countries as well as the ways to solve them were discussed at the conference. The Polish side informed the participants of the current situation of the forest field in the country. Georgian, Azerbaijani and Polish agricultural specialists, professors and experts of Poznan and Technical University of Georgia and representatives of LEPL National Forestry Agency attended the conference.
