Buisiness yard was arranged in Bolnisi municipality
The Head of the National Forestry Agency, Kakha Tsertsvadze visited the ongoing works in the "business yard" of Bolnisi municipality. The National Forestry Agency organizes timber production, sorting, and storing in "business yards" as part of the forestry reform.
"Social cuttings, which involve the production of firewood by the efforts of population, are being phased out. The National Forestry Agency is actively working on introducing new services. Across the country, 39 "business yards" are functioning, which ensures the simplification of all information and service delivery related to the forest. The population is given the opportunity to buy firewood easily and, by their wish, use the transportation service as well," - said Kakha Tsertsvadze.
By the end of 2023, the National Forestry Agency has planned to arrange an additional 17 "business yards".
