The fact of timber illegal logging and transportation
Employees of the Kakheti Forestry Service of the National Forestry Agency revealed timber illegal logging and transportation.
A citizen was transporting up to 5 m3 of second-quality firewood of illegally obtained beech species from Telavi forest area with a truck. Employees of the National Forestry Agency sealed the vehicle and took it to Telavi's "business yard".
An administrative offense protocol was drawn up on the fact. The case materials were sent to the relevant investigative body for further response.
Illegally obtained firewood will be stored in the "business yard" of Telavi, where it will be sold.
