Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Kakha Kakabadze met with representatives of the National Agency of Public Registry and representatives of environmental non-governmental organizations.

The meeting participants discussed the systematic land registration process, which implements National Public Registry Agency.

The necessity to define specific regulations and rules that ensure the correct conduct of the processes, so that, on the one hand, the significant system registration process for the country goes smoothly and, on the other hand, the interests of the forest are fully protected, was emphasized at the meeting.

Based on this, at the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, within the framework of the National Forestry Program, a working group was created to discuss the improvement of the legislation, which will regulate the specific bases for the adjustment of areas within the forest boundaries. The working group is composed of representatives of the Ministry, the National Public Registry Agency and non-governmental organizations.
