Meeting with the representatives of the World Bank
Representatives of the World Bank mission are on a working visit to Georgia. The delegation met with the representatives of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, National Forestry Agency and Biodiversity and Forestry Department within the visit. Experts presented results and recommendations of the research - "Forests, Family Farms and Poverty in Georgian Forestry"; in addition, they were informed from Georgian side on preventive measures against forest fires that have been quite frequent recently. Based on the provided information, experts will develop recommendations and plan directions of future cooperation.
