The working visit of the Georgian delegation to Austria has ended

During the working visit to Austria, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Kakha Kakabadze got acquainted with the concept, management, and business model of the UNESCO Global Geopark. The Georgian delegation visited the abandoned mineral mine (podzemlje pace) located on the territory of Slovenia, which is currently a geological museum and one of the essential elements of the transboundary geopark Karavankek (Austria and Slovenia).

The Georgian delegation's visit to Austria and Slovenia, which included representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations Management Service, and National Security Council,  ended today. The project is implemented by the Caucasus Non-Governmental Organizations Network (CENN) with the financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation.
