The working visit to Austria continues

Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Kakha Kakabadze, during the working visit to Austria, met with the representatives of the federal forest. The Deputy Minister, together with the members of the Georgian delegation, got acquainted with the infrastructure of the Austrian agricultural forests and the Austrian model of forest management.

"The support of our partners and the sharing of best practices are extremely important for the development of the forest sector and the effectiveness of law enforcement. We have successful cooperation with Austria. We expect that in the future we will implement many joint projects", said the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Kakha Kakabadze.

Within the framework of the visit, the representatives of the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture visited Karavankeni Geological Park.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the project "Sustainable Forest Management for Rural Development". The project is implemented by the Caucasus Environmental Non-Governmental Organizations Network (CENN) with the financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation.
