New Administrative Building in Dusheti Municipality
The rehabilitation works for the administrative building of the Dusheti Forestry District in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region have been completed.
To simplify access to forest-related services, the National Forestry Agency has initiated the establishment of a total of 10 administrative buildings across the country. This initiative will enable both the local population and the private sector to receive necessary information and services on-site. Last year, new administrative buildings were constructed in Oni and Sadmeli, while rehabilitation works were finalized in Lentekhi, Mtsketta, Aspindza, Zestafoni, and Sachkhere.
"To improve working conditions, strengthen forestry services, and simultaneously ensure that the local population can utilize the Forestry Agency's services without hindrance, regional forestry service offices in all nine regions have been renovated and equipped. Strengthening the Agency's institutional capacities and simplifying access to services are priority directions of the forestry reform." stated Besik Amiranashvili, Head of the National Forestry Agency.
