New administrative buildings for forest districts in Racha–Lechkhumi–Kvemo Svaneti
The administrations of forest districts in the Racha–Lechkhumi–Kvemo Svaneti region will operate in new buildings. The construction of administrative buildings has been completed in Tsageri, Lentekhi, and Oni. The head of the National Forestry Agency, Besik Amiranashvili, visited the site to review the ongoing construction work in Ambrolauri.
On the initiative of the National Forestry Agency, a total of 10 administrative buildings will be arranged across the country.
“In order to strengthen forestry services and simplify public access to the Forestry Agency’s services, additional new administrative buildings have been constructed. This will give local residents and the private sector the opportunity to obtain forest-related information on site much more easily,” said the Head of the National Forestry Agency, Besik Amiranashvili.
Strengthening institutional capacity and creating appropriate working conditions, as well as equipping the agency with modern technological tools, is one of the priority directions of the forestry reform.
