Rehabilitation of forest roads in Shida Kartli
LEPL National Forestry Agency is implementing rehabilitation of forest roads throughout the country for the smooth supply of the population with firewood. Tornike Gvazava, the Head of the Agency, got acquainted with the ongoing works in Kaspi municipality.
Rehabilitation of roads will also facilitate to conducting fire prevention measures and forest maintenance-restoration works, as well as makes it easier for the population to bring ot the timber from forest.
As a result of the ongoing works, the ecological condition of forests, forest maintenance-restoration and fire prevention measures will be improved.
