Innovative round logs measurement and data management system
In cooperation with the Estonian company "TIMBETER" and the Georgian Environmental Organization (GEO), training was conducted for the employees of the Kakheti Forestry Service at the Akhmeta business yard. The issues of timber/round logs measure and the introduction of an innovative digital data management system were discussed at the training.
"TIMBETER" is round logs measurement and data management system that uses software algorithms (machine learning), artificial intelligence, and Internet technologies to facilitate the determination and management of log volume, quantity, quality, price.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Government of Georgia and with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
