In the Adigeni municipality village Mokhi,  an eco-tourism infrastructure - a picnic and a camping site - was organized within the framework of the project - "Sustainable Forest Management in the Municipality of Adigeni, phase II".

The financial supporter of the project is the Center for International Cooperation and Development of the Republic of Slovenia (CMSR) in Georgia. Considering the Slovenian practice, a new footpath was added to the cascade of waterfalls in the village of Mokhi.

It should be noted that this year, within the framework of the project, two more recreational infrastructures and one summer camp are planned to be arranged. The "Sustainable Forest Management in Adigeni Municipality" project is implemented with the financial support of the Government of Slovenia, the Caucasus Program of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and the Zavita Consulting Consortium.

"With the financial support of the Slovenian government, an important project is being implemented in the municipality of Adigeni. The development of tourist infrastructure and forest multi-purpose use is one of the priority directions of the agency. To simplify the population's access to firewood resources, as well as for preventive measures against forest fires, this year it is planned to arrange and rehabilitate forest roads, taking into account the Slovenian practice", said the Head of the National Forestry Service Kakha Tsertsvadze.

The main goal of the mentioned project is to strengthen the sustainable management of forests in the Adigeni municipality. The project's total budget is 1,099,940 euros, where the contribution of the National Forestry Agency is 551,500 euros, and 548,440 euros is the grant amount. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and representatives of local self-government.
