Illegal sawmill in Borjomi
Employees of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Forestry Service of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture discovered an unregistered sawmill in Borjomi.
The offender had installed an illegal sawmill in the garage. Employees of the National Forestry Agency found illegally harvested coniferous wood and 6 cubic meters of primary processing product (plank) on the territory of the workshop.
The Department of Environmental Supervision employees sealed the sawmill. Illegally extracted timber is transferred to the "business yard" of Borjomi.
Since the case contains signs of a criminal offense, the materials were sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for further action.
