Timber illegal transportation in the Imereti region
Employees of the National Forestry Agency Imereti Service revealed the fact of timber illegal logging and transportation in the vicinity of Lichi village Sachkhere municipality. Offenders illegally obtained up to 10 cubic meters of beech wood in the state forest.
The trucks were sealed and transported to the business yard of the Sachkhere. An administrative offense protocol was issued against the poachers. The materials will be forwarded to the appropriate authority for further response.
