Forestry Service's new office in Zugdidi municipality
In the city of Zugdidi, the construction of a new office of the Forestry Service is underway. The works will be completed by the end of May this year. Citizens will use all the services of the National Forestry Agency in the renovated space. The building will be equipped with the necessary inventory and equipment.
The Head of the National Forestry Agency, Kakha Tsertsvadze, together with the State Commissioner of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Giorgi Guguchia, and representatives of the local self-government inspected the current construction works.
"It is important for us that the local population can easily use the services of the National Forestry Agency. I would also like to point out that the main priority of the agency are social guarantees and the working conditions of employees. With the implemented legislative changes, the Forestry Agency provides life and health insurance for foresters, the use of a form of incentive for the performance of challenging tasks, which, we think, will significantly increase the motivation of employees", said the Head of the National Forestry Agency, Kakha Tsertsvadze.
It should be noted that the rehabilitation of offices of regional forestry services completed in almost all regions. Partially were updated car park and equipment.
