On the outer perimeter of Mount Urta, located on the territory of the forest, managed by the National Forestry Agency, monitoring systems of the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug have been installed. Measures to combat the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug proceed according to the plan, monitoring systems are established throughout the country to determine the amount of pest and its distribution area.

On the scale of Georgia, along the perimeter of the forest, the "lure and destroy" technology stations will be located in forestsб managed by the National Forestry Agency of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, where in total about 2,800 pheromones have been established.

With the purpose of effective and coordinated implementation of activities in western Georgia, a pest control coordination office is established in the Abasha Municipality, where an electronic database is created, monitoring results are reflected on an interactive map and after the analysis of the measures  for each municipality are planned. The state mobilized 150 units of specialized equipment of high cross-country capacity, which is ten times more than last year.
