The National Forest Agency continues to provide public schools with firewood. This time, firewood was supplied to 7 public schools in the Kakheti region. The Head of the National Forestry Agency Tornike Gvazava and staff of the Service got acquainted with the work on the site.
In accordance with the changes made in the legislation this year, the Agency will provide firewood to about 1600 public schools in the country.
This initiative will not only supprot educational organizations, but also establish sustainable forest management in the country, which in the future will create an effective mechanism for the use of wood resources.
The process of supply of firewood to schools in 9 regions will be completed till November this year.
