Provision regional schools with firewood by National Forestry Agency is accomplished

The National Forestry Agency received hundreds of gratefull letters from managers of regional schools and resource centers. In this regard, Head of the agency Tornpike Gvazava expressed gratitude to heads and chief foresters of regional services for the work done at this stage and accepted a reports on the dynamics of the process of providing schools with wood resources.
To the date, schools in five regions are fully provided with firewood, and in other four works continue in intensive mode. In accordance with the changes made in the legislation this year, the Agency will provide firewood to about 1600 public schools in the country. This initiative will not only support educational institutions, but also the establishment of sustainable forest management in the country will create an effective mechanism for the use of wood resources.
